First 2 Cases of Coronavirus Identified in Allegheny Cty

0 comment 113 views

Earlier today during a press conference, Allegheny County officials confirmed the first two cases of Coronavirus reported in the area.

They were evaluated on Friday at West Penn Hospital with all due precautions. The two adults live together and apparently spent time outside the country recently. Both are residents of the City of Pittsburgh and are between 60-70 years old.

After the evaluation, they returned home where they will remain in self-isolation. No additional details were offered about the two individuals due to patient confidentiality limitations.

Officers emphasized the need for local residents to limit large group activities and to follow the recommendation to stay home as much as possible.
