Kiria Cora is a Venezuelan wellness coach, based in Pittsburgh, trained in personal development and theological education which have always been key to her emotional and spiritual recovery. Her certifications include resilience management, emotional intelligence management, communication, and leadership programs. In addition to her service to the community, together with the Emotional Abuse Foundation, Kiria also shares her knowledge on social media through her insight FE podcast.
She is currently part of OVM Radio. Her program: “Getting to Know Ourselves with Kiria Cora“, is a space where listeners are motivated to get close to God, using reflections on current life topics to inspire the community to remain strong in the face of the world’s challenges.
Her passion for writing arose during the early days of the pandemic in 2020. Kiria’s first book and short story “The Hidden Crown of the Pandemic” earned her a first literary award. During the most difficult time of her life with her son admitted to the hospital, spiritual motivation helped enrich her life.
In her new book – “El Homerun de Dios” (God’s Homerun) – Kiria shares her experience to inspire us, especially our Latino community, to restore our lives through compassion and love. She also shares the traumatic episode of bullying her son experienced and encourages us to learn to accept each other regardless of our color.
On Friday, January 21 at 6:30 pm Kiria will be hosting her first author’s signature event at the Steel Tower in Downtown, Pittsburgh. Follow her social networks (listed at the end of the article) to learn more about this and other events.
We congratulate Kiria on her accomplishments as an author and invite you to support this inspiring Latina from Pittsburgh. Her book is available now on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Spread the word!
