The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (PMAHCC) announced a new Digital Speaker Series to share relevant information, inspire growth, and foster opportunity. Speakers include community leaders and member as well as other individuals who have a positive impact not only on the Hispanic community, but Pittsburgh as a region.

Puerto Rican author Marisel Vera will be the first featured speaker of the series on July 28, 2020 at 12pm LIVE on the PMAHCC Facebook page.

Marisel is author of the acclaimed novel, THE TASTE OF SUGAR, which was recently named to Oprah Winfrey’s Summer Reading List. The novel is a riveting tale of love and endurance set in Puerto Rico on the eve of the Spanish-American War.

The PMAHCC is coordinating their Speaker lineup. Below are some of the guests planned for the series.

The conversations will be shared LIVE on the PMAHCC Facebook page and YouTube, and will include a Q&A portion. The Taste of Sugar is available on Amazon at https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed…
