The Latino Community Center’s Back-to-School Bash event is just around the corner for students starting school this August. The event, a unique opportunity for Latinx students and families to come together for a day of fun family-oriented activities at PNC Park, will be hosted in partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2 to 5:30 PM on August 6 this year.
The event itself serves over 200 students and their families every year, and provides a day full of fun activities with family oriented aspects to get students excited for the upcoming school year.

Pittsburgh Latino Community Center to host Back to School Bash at PNC park on August 6.
Backpacks full of new school supplies are handed out to students during the day to help provide them with the things they need in preparation for the academic year. To help provide items to these students, the Latino Community Center has an Amazon wishlist where individuals can make donations in the form of school supplies for the students. This donation drive will end mid July and donations can be made by using their Amazon link.
In addition to their donation drive, the Latino Community Center’s network of partnership organizations will have a number of tables set up to showcase and talk to families about the services that they offer. This helps to ensure that both the students and families of the LCC have everything they need to succeed in the upcoming school year!
LCC is always happy to have sponsors for these events, both new and old! Presente is happy to have helped sponsor the 2021 Back-to-School Bash, and we look forward to seeing everyone come together again for this year’s event!
