
The National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) Nominations & Elections Committee is identifying candidates for NHCC Board of Directors consideration. This is an excellent opportunity to elevate your corporate presence with a national organization. It is also a great opportunity for professional development.
Eligibility:
- Represent a member company in good standing
- Approval from the company’s primary contact
- Attended an NHCC event in the past two years
Representative from non-member company will be considered if the company commits to a corporate membership
Duties:
- Become an NHCC champion and ambassador;
- Represent the best interests of the organization and your respective company;
- Be active and present as much as possible: review all relevant material before meetings. Participate and contribute to organizational development strategies;
- Carries out individual assignments made by the Chair;
- Serve or led a committee to ensure that the committee proposes policies and/or develops products and services that provide value to NHCC members;
Duration:
- Serve a 2-year renewable term
- Attend board meetings 3 – 4 times a year. Meetings are typically held in conjunction with NHCC Meetings:
- Board Strategy Meeting (January 2020);
- Spring Board Meeting at the Annual Meeting (June 2020);
- Mid-year conference call (July/August 2020);
- Fall Board Meeting at the Regional Forum (Fall 2020);
- At times board members cannot make it in person, so they’ve joined by phone or for partial periods;
