QUE VIVA CLEMENTE! Celebrate Number 21 with Puerto Rican Food, Music and Dance in October

0 comment 60 views

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and the great Roberto Clemente with the Latino labor activists of the Pittsburgh Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) and Casa San Jose. Enjoy authentic Puerto Rican cuisine including lechón (slow-roasted pork), music and dance.

Half of the net proceeds of this fundraiser will go to an anti-hunger organization based in Puerto Rico (Clemente’s birth place) and the other half to El Fondo Solidario de Pittsburgh (the Pittsburgh Solidarity Fund), which provides loans to families impacted by ICE detention.
