The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh will host its second annual virtual summit “Into the Depths: Exploring this Global Moment,” coinciding with their 90th anniversary celebration.
The theme this year centers around diving deeper into global issues, their causes, contexts, and why they matter to our daily lives.
The four days of virtual events will include opening and closing keynote addresses, musical performances by internationally acclaimed Cuban artist Descemer Bueno, and interactive programs with experts speaking on crucial global issues.
The opening keynote speaker will be Amali Tower, Founder and Executive Director of Climate Refugees, and Lina Abirafeh, Executive Director at the Arab Institute for Women will close out the event with our closing keynote.
