Scientists at the Kaiser Permanente Research Institute in Seattle, Washington applied the world’s first experimental vaccine for Coronavirus.
It is the first phase of a study for a possible vaccine against the virus that causes COVID-19 which is wreaking havoc worldwide.
A total of 45 healthy volunteers will receive the vaccine – two doses with a month in between. This is the first step to find out if the vaccines are safe and effective, and possibly make way for possible global distribution.
To date, the pandemic has infected more than 169,000 people and killed more than 6,500 worldwide.
