Pittsburgh Zoo officials revealed on Friday that COVID-19 tests will be taking place at the zoo’s central parking lot beginning on March 23. The tests will be administered by the Central Outreach Wellness Center.
People with the three main Coronavirus symptoms – fever, dry cough, and breathing difficulty – will be tested. The outreach center urged everyone who does NOT have symptoms to stay home to avoid the spread.
Those interested must present a photo ID and their health insurance card. They also shared that people who do not have insurance will not be rejected. The service will be available from 11am to 4pm.
The zoo is located at 7370 Baker Street Pittsburgh, PA 15206. For additional information, the contact number is 412-515-0000.
